As part of it's mission, Chequered Flag Motorsport strives to support individuals who are living a different life from that experienced by most people. People facing the challenges of a neurological condition as a result of, for example a stroke, ASD (autism), brain injury, ADHD and general mental health issues.
In addition to this community that we represent we also support and champion select individuals, carving their way in the challenging world of motorsport, to be ambassadors. Each of our ambassadors, having illustrated an understanding and acceptance of the wider world, identifies with what we do and helps support our community in a range of ways. In return our ambassador programme is designed to support them by putting the spotlight on them in their chosen motorsport discipline.
Having her first karting experience in a corporate kart in 2015. She went on to compete in the Daytona Junior Inkart Championship at both Manchester and Tamworth during 2016 and 2017, becoming the Manchester Vice Champion in 2017.
In 2018 she made the move up to BirelART Series UK National Championship, where she became the Junior Rookie Champion.
In 2019 the series became the Daniel Ricciardo Series UK and she attained the title of Junior Vice Champion in 2020 and again in 2021.
2020 witnessed her first foray into car racing with her first drive in a car – a Ginetta G40 as part of a test day. The same year she took part in the prestigious Ginetta Junior Scholarship, finishing in the top 8 and narrowly missing out on the final shoot out.
However, in November 2021 she returned and won the Ginetta Junior Scholarship, beating more than 60 of the best young drivers from around the world. As such she will step up to the Ginetta Junior Championship racing a Ginetta G40 Junior on the TOCA British Touring Car calendar during 2022.
With her love of dogs Alisha was a natural choice to represent Chequered Flag Motorsport as an ambassador for Support Dogs, one of the key charities we support, that sources, trains and provides alert dogs to those with autism, epilepsy or a physical disability. Support Alisha CLICK HERE.
Kyan is a racing rarity, a British Asian racing driver. A teenager from Leicester and passionate about Motorsport. He has been racing karts since the age of 9 but joined the big league a little late at 13. Despite this he outperformed many of his peers in just his first season of racing, collecting a few trophies along the way and finishing top novice 2020 at his club’s annual Championship.
In 2021, he joined fellow Chequered Flag Motorsport ambassador, Alisha Palmowski, in the Ginetta Junior Scholarship. It was a valuable learning experience for him, being his first experience of cars. Putting that experience to good use he has progressed to the final 6 in the JamSport Fiesta Scholarship.
Displaying a maturity, awareness and compassion beyond his years Kyan raised nearly £1800 during 2021 in support of Chequered Flag Motorsport events by operating a car valeting venture.
He is determined to compete at the top level as a professional racing driver in one of the elite categories of motorsport. Kyan also represents Chequered Flag Motorsport as an ambassador for PACES. Support Kyan CLICK HERE.
